Body & Sole is a beauty salon based in Chichester run by the Proprietor, Sarah Barnett (www.bodyandsole.uk.com). Sarah started the salon in 2001 and has always recognised the value her skills and experience bring to the business and the importance of outsourcing those outside her expertise when needed. She approached SFM Consulting in February 2010 as she was planning to to recruit an additional member of staff and opportunity to bring her HR processes, documentation and policies up to date.
To undertake an HR audit examining every aspect of HR activity and evaluate compliance with current employment law and provide recommendations in the form of an action plan.
SFM Consulting audited all the HR files, documentation, policies and procedures and provided an action plan using traffic light colour coding to prioritise the actions needed. Over the following months SFM Consulting worked closely with Sarah Barnett to deliver the actions identified (see below) and continues to provide on-going advice and support on HR and business management.
